David Devinger - Manager

Dave draws upon over 30 years of insurance claims leadership experience in delivering strategies and action plans that have resolved multimillion-dollar claims and minimized both Insured and Insurer exposure. His career includes key positions at major insurance carriers as AmTrust, where he served as Director of Global Oversight TPA Claims, Tokio Marine HCC (Senior Claims Manager), Lumbermens Mutual (Director, Latent Claims), GE Insurance Solutions and Zurich. Dave has handled claims in a wide array of areas, including professional liability, latent claims, construction defect, public entity, environmental and excess casualty and liability. He holds a CPCU designation, and possesses a JD degree from the DePaul University College of Law.

Steven Wellbank

Steve brings over 30 years of claims and insurance experience to InsClaim Solutions, LLC. Steve’s insurance experience has covered a broad array of business lines within the industry. His skills and acumen distinguish him from others in the field. Steve has held senior management and director level positions throughout the industry at major insurance carriers, including AmTrust Financial, First Nonprofit, CNA, and Travelers. Steve began his career journey with service in the U.S. Navy where he first developed his decision-making and leadership skills. He also holds an MBA, CPCU, and other designations, which inure to his success.

Pete Slavin

Pete is an insurance professional with over 40 years of experience at all levels, in a multidisciplinary capacity. He has been employed by major insurance carriers including Liberty Mutual, Underwriters Insurance Company, Wausau, Nationwide, Crum & Forster, Coregis, TIG, SUA, the Tower Group, Pro IS, and AmTrust. While his primary emphasis has been in professional liability claims, he has worked with underwriting, drafting policies, state filings, actuarial review, risk management, regulatory and compliance, and extracontractualmatters. Pete has been involved in virtually every type of insurance coverage in varying degrees, and has been and IIA instructor for claims courses. He has been a guest speaker at industry seminars on legal malpractice, bad faith, and catastrophic injuries.

Albert McLaughlin

Al has over 35 years of insurance claims experience, the majority of that time has been spent in Claims Management and Home Office Technical positions. In those positions he was responsible for a variety of Professional Liability lines including Lawyers, Accountants Architects and Engineers E&O claims, and Directors and Officers Liability claims. Al has also served in similar management and technical positions in Casualty claims. He was also responsible for the creation and implementation of Claims Best Practices in designated lines at three previous employers. Past notable employers include AmTrust, Tower Group (SUA), Allianz (Fireman's Fund/Interstate), ERC (Coregis Group) and Liberty Mutual (Safeco).
