David Devinger - Manager

Dave brings more than 30 years of senior insurance claims leadership experience to InsClaim Solutions, LLC. Over the course of his career, he has developed and executed claim strategies that have resolved multimillion-dollar matters and minimized exposure for both insureds and insurers. He has held key leadership positions with major insurance organizations, including AmTrust, where he served as Director of Global Oversight TPA Claims; Tokio Marine HCC, where he served as Senior Claims Manager; Lumbermens Mutual, where he served as Director of Latent Claims; as well as GE Insurance Solutions and Zurich. Dave’s experience spans a broad spectrum of complex claims, including professional liability, latent claims, construction defect, public entity, environmental, and excess casualty and liability matters. He holds a CPCU designation and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.

Catherine Bradley – Senior Claims Consultant

Catherine brings substantial experience handling professional liability, malpractice, and other complex claims. Her background includes important roles with leading insurance carriers such as CNA and Chubb, as well as experience serving as a claims consultant for respected insurance defense law firms. She is known for her strong technical command, sound judgment, and disciplined analytical approach to claims handling. Catherine’s depth of experience and practical insight make her a valuable resource to clients and an important member of the InsClaim Solutions team.

Brandon Cooley – Claims Consultant

Brandon brings more than 10 years of experience handling complex property and auto claims. His background includes large-loss property matters, complex auto liability claims, total loss evaluations, and quality assurance review. He has worked with organizations including Pilot Catastrophe Services, Pacesetter Claims, Crawford & Company, and State Farm. Brandon is known for his strong organization, adaptability, and ability to manage high-volume claims with precision and professionalism. His experience reviewing coverage, assessing damages, preparing estimates, conducting recorded statements, and negotiating settlements makes him a strong addition to the InsClaim Solutions team.

Steven Wellbank

Steve brings more than 30 years of claims and insurance experience to InsClaim Solutions, LLC. His background spans a broad range of business lines within the insurance industry, and his depth of knowledge and judgment distinguish him in the field. Steve has held senior management and director-level positions with major insurance carriers, including AmTrust Financial, First Nonprofit, CNA, and Travelers. He began his professional career in the U.S. Navy, where he developed the leadership and decision-making skills that have remained hallmarks of his work. Steve also holds an MBA, CPCU, and other professional designations.

Pete Slavin

Pete is a highly seasoned insurance professional with more than 40 years of multidisciplinary experience across the industry. He has served in a wide range of roles with major insurance carriers, including Liberty Mutual, Underwriters Insurance Company, Wausau, Nationwide, Crum & Forster, Coregis, TIG, SUA, Tower Group, Pro IS, and AmTrust. While his principal emphasis has been professional liability claims, his experience also includes underwriting, policy drafting, state filings, actuarial review, risk management, regulatory and compliance matters, and extra-contractual issues. Pete has worked with virtually every type of insurance coverage and has also served as an IIA instructor for claims courses. He has been a guest speaker at industry seminars on legal malpractice, bad faith, and catastrophic injuries.

Albert McLaughlin

Al has more than 35 years of insurance claims experience, most of it in claims management and home office technical positions. In those roles, he was responsible for a variety of professional liability lines, including lawyers, accountants, architects and engineers E&O claims, as well as directors and officers liability claims. Al has also served in similar management and technical roles involving casualty claims. In addition, he was responsible for developing and implementing claims best practices in designated lines at three prior employers. His past notable employers include AmTrust, Tower Group (SUA), Allianz (Fireman’s Fund/Interstate), ERC (Coregis Group), and Liberty Mutual (Safeco).
